Privacy Policy

Effective date:

Boosh is an offline word puzzle game developed by Matt Finucane. Your privacy is simple: Boosh does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.

Information collection

Boosh does not require an account and does not collect personal information, gameplay data, device identifiers, location data, or contact information.

The app does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party crash-reporting services.

Data stored on your device

Game progress, statistics, and settings are stored locally within the app on your device. This information is not transmitted to Matt Finucane or to any third party.

Your device’s operating system may include this local information in a device backup, depending on your platform and backup settings. Those backups are managed by you and your platform provider; Matt Finucane cannot access them.

Data retention and deletion

Because no data is collected or stored remotely, there is no server-held user data to retain or delete. You can remove locally stored Boosh data by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.

Children’s privacy

Boosh does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.

Policy webpage hosting

This policy is hosted using GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information, such as IP addresses, when serving this webpage. This is governed by the GitHub Privacy Statement .

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if Boosh’s privacy practices change. Any revision will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
